I had to reboot for this, setup partitions then did install I could use KDE partition manager to do it this time (before calamares), on prior attempts after a failed install it would error out. it was done it two steps, (1) delete old sda9 then apply, (2) create ext4 partition using space The old partition is setup using KDE partition manager on 20.04 instead of using 18.04.4 'live'. Retry: re-use /home (sda8 23gb) from prior install newly formatted ext4 fs (sda9 22gb) for / I was unable to 'select' format for that partition, so I changed format to 'reseif' then accepted then returned it to ext4 & format was selected. no issues last time & now / (sda9) partition has lubu system (format), re-use sda8 for /home (no-format)
